10/12/2018: DataCite Fabrica Workshop

On Dec 10, 2018 the eResearch Alliance organized a workshop on the web interface Fabrica (doi.datacite.org) for the DataCite clients of the SUB. This web interface is in operation since mid-2018, and since November 2018 it is the only web interface for clients to register DataCite DOIs.

The topics covered in the workshop mostly concerned the newly introduced features, such as:

validation of URL and metadata upon upload
metadata editing in the browser
Processing of other file formats such as schema.org JSON-LD, Crossref XML and bibTeX
DOI states: Draft, Registered, Findable

The workshop primarily aimed at DataCite clients of the SUB Göttingen.
