10/06/2020: Open Science meets Research Integrity

The next Open Science Meet Up is taking place on June 10, 2020: Open Science meets Research Integrity: Open Science and Research Integrity share a strong interest in enabling transparent, responsible and reliable research. Therefore there is room to embed Open Science in research integrity trainings, but also to make explicit what research integrity challenges in the context of Open Science might emerge and what responsible Open Science means.

The event will focus on the following questions:

  • How do research integrity and open science relate to and benefit from each other?
  • With a focus on publishing, what does this mean and what are possible issues when it comes to
    • update on preprint publishing
    • publishing in Open Access journals
    • identifying reliable vs. questionable publication outlets
    • handling of author and roles
